Derek is the Chief Financial Officer at Crestpoint and joined the team in 2014. He is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, taxation, and compliance for Crestpoint and its investments. Previously, Derek spent seven years in the Audit and Assurance Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he provided audit and advisory services to public and private clients, predominantly in the real estate industry.

Derek holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) charterholder.
